Takes time as it's a cook down the liquids thing. But my finding is - do not overcook. So, I cut heat when it's a little less thick, add some butter, stir/whisk in good. It gives the emulsification and that stays more "syrupy" once cooled, rather than getting grainy after a couple weeks & you need to reheat to use. Trial & error. Hey, milk is bountiful do a couple small batches.

Are you still growing any of those beautiful mushrooms?

No, I discovered I'm allergic to them. They were really fun and really yummy though. It was like growing edible flowers!

Tiny chicken soup.
1000006255.jpg

I took the meat off the wyandotte, polish, and two sultan roosters for other uses and put the bones in to simmer for a day. Then i did the d'uccles and they'll cook until just done and they'll be the meat for the chicken soup. Hopefully they'll cook long enough it wont matter that i forgot to rest them in the fridge for a day (other wise the menfolk might reject it and the soup will be all mine i guess).

(And this will be posted later on the machine with the ad blocker because byh put ads over my posting button again...)

Wow, I'm not alone. I tried to buy a "golden herd membership" so I didn't have to use an add blocker. The money went but the membership didn't go through. So now they get an add blocker because the ads infringe on the functionality of the site. I've already paid to support the site this year so GONE the ads go.
